The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team Facilitator Certification

As a Five Behaviors® Certified Practitioner, you'll have the power to create a culture of teamwork that elevates the entire organization to drive results.

This two-week course combines virtual, instructor-led sessions with self-directed online learning, and upon successful completion of the exam, you will earn the credential of Five Behaviors® Certified Practitioner.

As a facilitator, you can influence whether a team sees an uncomfortable moment through or misses out on the opportunity to grow. The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ is different. Sessions can get heated. Participants can become emotional. The team leader can be defensive. Timelines and scripts can get thrown out the window. You're in a position to influence whether a team sees an uncomfortable moment through or misses out on the opportunity to grow.

Upon successful completion of the exam, participants will earn the credential of The Five Behaviors Certified Practitioner, signaling proven competence in shaping engaged, cohesive, and high-performing teams and knowledgeable in the language of The Five Behaviors.

2-Week Course Outline:

Week One:

Day 1: Self-directed Online Activities (2-3 hours)
Day 2: Live Session 1 (2 hours)
Day 3: Self-directed Online Activities (2-3 hours)
Day 4: Live Session 2 (2 hours)
Day 5: Self-directed Online Activities (1-2 hours)

Week Two:

Day 8: Self-directed Online Activities (2-3 hours)
Day 9: Live Session 3 (2 hours)
Day 10: Self-directed Online Activities (3-4 hours)
Day 11: Live Session 4 (2 hours)
Day 12: Self-directed Online Activities (Exam) (2-3 hours)

Wiley is not allowing individuals to miss a live session. You will have to reschedule to an entirely new course. Your online work would be carried over to the new session. You may reschedule to a later date if something comes up; however, after one reschedule Wiley will apply the cancellation policy.

This intensive five-week blended learning course will prepare you to more effectively facilitate The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team^™ facilitator program, including teaching you how to create and deliver a custom workshop.

The self-directed online work includes interactive activities to help you absorb the principles of The Five Behaviors model. During the live sessions, you’ll practice facilitating activities with small groups and explore challenging "what-if" scenarios that could come up during your workshops. The Five Behaviors Facilitator Accreditation will give you the tools and confidence you need to master this amazing program—no matter what a team brings to the room.
